As children board the bus, the driver taps on the AM Pickup NFC tag on their cards. This opens the Papps website where the driver will tap on the AM Pickup button.  This enables the triggering of  a WhatsApp to the parent/guardian, precoded with the message "Picked up [name of child]" via the WhasApp API.  When the driver arrives at the school, the children disembark. The Papps application will have prepared a Morning Pickups Report, listing the time, names and Profile URLs of all the children that were picked up. The driver accesses this report on his phone and taps on each URL individually, sending parents a "Dropped Off [name of child]" WhatsApp message via the WhatsApp API. At the Office, Support staff can access the Morning Pickups Report online, which will show children's names, URLs, time picked up and time dropped off at school.

The bus may be delayed by kids arriving late. As kids board the the bus, the driver taps their cards and sends the "Onboarded the bus" WhatsApp message to parents/guardians. The Papps System creates the PM Dropoff Report from the drivers' scans. Just before departing, the driver accesses the report online and triggers the preprogrammed Whatsapp messages to parents by tapping the URLs, confirming that the bus is on its way. The Office will be able to access the PM Dropoff Report online as soon as the messages are triggered by the driver (so if they can't access the report, the bus is probably still waiting for someone).

As kids are dropped off, the driver taps their cards and triggers the preprogrammed "Dropoff" message. in need, the Papps system could make this data available to the Office as a PM Dropoff Report.
